Originally launched in 2015 as strictly a direct sales blog, HelpMeNaomi has evolved into a blog dedicated to mothers who work from home and is quickly growing into a place for parenting advice and coaching.

When I started this blog, I was new to the world of direct sales, having just joined Jamberry. But I was already a trained and certified psychotherapist, a published author, a certified parenting coach, and a new mother trying to put all my learning into practical application. And I realized that while there are mothers out there looking to join direct sales the same way I did and for the same reasons, I could sure help a lot more of them if I swung my attention away from the direct sales focus and more onto the parenting aspect. After all, there are already dozens of blogs out there that can tell you all about the latest styles from Jamberry, right?

How many blogs teach you how to run and market a business with a toddler strapped to your hip and a newborn in your arms?

If you’re struggling with balancing work and home, then I’m here to help. If you’re looking for advice on how to work from home without feeling like you’re neglecting your family, then you’re in the right place. Not just because I am an expert at these things, but because I’m just like you. And I get it.

And, oh yea, I’m a geek. And I’m raising geeks. So you may see the occasional reference to Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Firefly, and anything else that tickles my geek-bone. You may also see me geek out over the things most people don’t normally like to even think about: numbers, technology, research, and more numbers.

I’m here to answer all your questions about parenting: from how to take care of yourself to how to take care of your kids. Whether you’re wondering how to take a nap without feeling guilty or how to get your kids to eat their vegetables, I gotcha covered.
