If there’s anything that I’ve learned since my time working with Jamberry, it’s to never give up. Okay, to tell you the truth, I probably also learned that somewhere else along the way. Maybe it was back in high school? But that’s a whole other story with a whole other lesson.
Back to Jamberry.
Don’t Give Up.
Why do you think we keep learning this same lesson over and over again? As toddlers, trying to learn how to walk. We all plopped down on our butts. Some of us cried, some of us laughed. Some of us took longer to get back up on our feet than others. But in the end, we kept going. And now look at us go! Walking around, one foot in front of the other. Sure, every once in a while one of our ankles gets twisted. We still trip and fall. But overall, we’re doing it.
And working with Jamberry has taught me the same thing. You can’t give up. I’ve made mistakes in marketing, branding, and even in presenting Jamberry to other people. And when those mistakes were pointed out to me (Thank you, Brenda Ster!) I could have stared at my floundering business and given up. I was pretty far under. But it’s never too late to revamp. It’s never too late to relaunch. If something isn’t working and you want it to work, then you have to remind yourself to get up and give it another go. Fix whatever isn’t working and go for it.
Twisting your ankle every now and again is not the same thing as losing your ability to walk.
